Students will learn how to handle a horse from the ground up. Starting with how to halter them, tie them up, brush them, tack them up correctly, and the do's and don't of horsemanship. Students will master getting respect on the ground from learning to lunge them properly. Students will then move onto the basics of riding including walk, trot, canter, backing up, and speed control. All students will need close toed shoes, boots preferred, and a helmet.
